Hello good people.

All I write down in this post was what I learned and what I did during my duty. My internship was at F.Gurrea Construction inc. It was located at
Q. Abeto St, Mandurriao, Iloilo City, 5000 Iloilo, Philipines. This company was running in construction which is a road, bridge or building around The Philipines. For me, I placed at Logistic department. This department was place that all activity of goods come and out. This is my first time on job training of my life. Guess what I fell ? well, of course nervous, affraid and confused. So I have many thing to adapt before I start my OJT because here is not my hometown. Fortunatelly, all people in here was friendly, they teach me anything I need to do and make everything easier. All employee in here can spoke english, that was very helpful. My responsibility in here was to help the staff record all of the goods come and out to their document and system. I also bring the document to another department, because all of the department was linked. Good news for me because all of their document was written in english. What I learned ? Many thing. First I learned about their culture, market and environment. I also can develope my skill in english speaking, teamwork, dicipline, responsibility, hardwork and how to work with your heart. This is an unforgetable moment and experience of my life. I’m sure anything that I get will be useful for my future job.

Hey, what’s up. Let me continue my experience in here. Everyday we always have a goof activity. Today, for first activity I went to Mandurriao street, Iloilo precisely F.Gurrea Construction Inc. I came here not for work, I mean not yet. This time only introduction about this company and where I will located to work later. How about my experience work in here ?, let see in the next post. After all of students exchange know where they will be placed during the internship, we move to another special place. Last time we went to Governor Bulding, this time we arrived at City Hall and meet major of Iloilo. This place was very crowded, all the activity that relate with government happen in here. So after we talk with major of Iloilo we visit museum of Iloilo at the same building as we meet major. Again we learn about their culture and history in here. For the final activity, we went to SM mall. It’s similliar with the mall in Indonesia but we need to pay with Peso for buying.

Hey, what’s up. This time I will continue my story about my exchange program in Iloilo. This morning all of the exchange students was gathering to learn about historical of Philipines and Iloilo. We learn about geography and demography of The Philippines and also colonialisme era in the past. We learn about historical of Iloilo, destination in here and comparassion of Iloilo at the past and present. After learning, we go to ISATU office to make our ID Card. So we now were officially part of ISATU. For the end activity for today, we did a campus tour and learn about this campus. Today was full of learning right.Thank you, and see in the next posts.
